Colorado gardening is not just about sunny gardens. If you plant trees or already have them you probably have shade spaces. Exposure direction and structures also create shade. While evaluating light is one of the most difficult gardening tasks, choosing plants based on light requirements can be equally daunting. Learn how to make good selections, and why sometimes it just is trial and error. Freddie Bogardus will show you some of her successes and some of her failures. We can all learn together.
