Join us for this excellent educational presentation on water quality and storm water systems. HAS presents Jerry Cordova, the Education & Outreach Coordinator for the City of Colorado Springs Water Resources Engineering Division.

Jerry’s Powerpoint presentation will give a history of our region and a context for the storm water challenges that the city of Colorado Springs faces. We will review the growth of city, view a few historic slides to see the native landscape and what an arid climate looked like in 1874, learn the implications this has on our watersheds and the importance of managing storm water.  You will walk away with practical ideas you can implement at your home and yard to reduce storm water pollution.
