NOTE: CHANGE IN DATE!
September 22, 2018
Due to the International Pickleball Tournament in Monument Valley Park, we had to reschedule this special event!
Let’s get together for the H.A.S. Appreciation Picnic & Plant Swap, just to celebrate good food, good friends, and the gardening season! This is our way of saying “Thank You” to all our members and volunteers of the Horticultural Art Society.
Bring your plants, seeds, pots, books & gardening tools to swap with fellow gardeners. And don’t forget your appetite — H.A.S. will provide the picnic food. Please bring your appetite and chair.
When & Where

- The backyard of the H.A.S. Cottage, 224 Mesa Road in Monument Valley Park (next to the H.A.S. Demonstration Garden).

- H.A.S. will provide the picnic food.
How is your garden’s portfolio doing as we enter August? Too heavily loaded in some sectors? Ready to diversify? The HAS Plant Swap can be the perfect opportunity to do that. First, take stock of what you have and would like to have—do you need to thin out the asters or knautia? Would you like to have more monarda or veronica? Then, pot up your extras and identify them with labels, common name or Latin.
The HAS cottage is located at the northern edge of the Demonstration Garden, 224 Mesa Road. (From I-25, take the Uintah Exit and head EAST. Make your first right onto Glen Avenue, and the cottage is 1/2 mile south. Parking in front of the cottage or Educational Building is fine for HAS members.)
