August 12, 2014: Monthly Lecture – “The Many Faces of ‘Rarity’: Threatened Plants and Places of the Pikes Peak Region”

The Horticultural Art Society is bringing out the big guns for the August talk with CC’s Tass Kelso (curator of the Carter Herbarium).  We are so excited that Dr Kelso will be delving into some of our threatened plains to mountains native plants.

The Many Faces of ‘Rarity’:  Threatened Plants and Places of the Pikes Peak Region by Dr. Tass Kelso of Colorado College.   Tass Kelso, a CC professor of Conservation and Botany, will be speaking at the Colorado Technical University campus, 4435 N. Chestnut, at 7 pm.
